NEVER soak wood cutting boards in water.
-

-
Dry board with clean towel after washing.
-
Allow to dry completely.
Periodic Maintenance
-
At least once per month, it is recommended to apply Cutting Board Wood Conditioner. Do this more often if using cutting board frequently.
-
If cutting board starts to absorb liquids or begins to appear dry, apply food grade mineral oil or Cutting Board Wood Conditioner.
Tips to Prolong Cutting Board Life
-
Keep your knives sharp. Dull knives could decrease usable life of wood cutting boards.
-
Avoid cutting in the same area repetitively. Rotate the board between uses.
-
Do not use serrated knives as they tend to rip the wood fibers like a saw.
-
I personally do not prepare or cut meat (raw or cooked) on my wood cutting boards. Do your research and make a decision that you are comfortable with.
